Our guide was excellent, providing fun information but not so much that it overwhelmed. She also managed the constant comments of an overzealous participant with a high degree of professionalism. We learned a lot on the tour and I found myself remembering the information shared on subsequent days wandering in the same area of Rome. Well worth the tour!

Iris had so much information that 2 hrs didn’t seem to be enough time. She kept the tour exciting & we learned a lot of history from her. She gave a great recommendation for gelato (Tiberius) that we tried. She wasn’t wrong.

Ivan was very professional handling a very political topic -the Jews. I liked that he came out in the beginning that this is not about politics but the facts from history and that he is not advocating any position

We had a wonderful experience on the Jewish Ghetto and Trastevere walking tour with Simone. He was an excellent guide—knowledgeable, engaging, and genuinely passionate about the history of the area. Simone brought the stories to life and made the tour both informative and enjoyable. He was also very friendly and attentive, making sure everyone felt included and had a great experience. We learned so much and really appreciated the time and care he put into the tour. Highly recommend Simone if you want to explore the Jewish Ghetto and Trastevere with a fantastic guide!

I did the Jewish Ghetto & Trastevere walking tour with Tamara at 5 PM, and I absolutely loved it! She grew up in Trastevere, and you can really tell how much she knows and how much she enjoys sharing it. I actually caught myself thinking at the end, “Whoa, the time just flew by.” What I loved most was the way she told the story. She started from the beginning and guided us through everything in a clear chronological order, always giving little hints about what we would see or come back to later. It made me genuinely curious about what was coming next. She was charismatic and so much fun to listen to. She had printed images with her to show us when they added something to the story, which made certain parts really easy to picture. She also had a great sense of humor and kept everything light and natural, even with all the traffic and distractions around us. It was a smaller group, which made the tour feel very personal, and we even got a little postcard as a surprise at the end — such a sweet way to finish the tour. You can really tell that Tamara loves what she does, and I left the tour feeling like I had experienced a side of Rome I wouldn’t have found on my own. Five stars, without a doubt!
