The tour took an unusual but interesting angle at Rome's history. Max was very knowledgeable and able to answer all questions. We discovered places we would not have known otherwise and in general were very pleased with the tour.

A hilarious tour guide with a classic irish humor style, this tour was made stellar by Diego's stories about unknown spots right in front of your eyes. Combine with it a touch of crime, gore and passion in his stories, you feel transported to a medieval era with a front row view to the action.

Max and his engaging stories highly exceeded our expectations. We have been on many tours and his was by far the best. Informative, engaging, creative well paced. Our only disappointment was that we could not join his ghost tour later that evening.

This was one of the best tours I've ever been on. The guru showed a passion for art that carried through his words. Showed me a way to look at art that I never would have anticipated. It changed the way I understood history, art and Rome. I can only hope to love something as much as our Guru lover Caravaggio
