It was amazing! A great and a different thing to do in Rome.

This was a great way to see some of the darker side of Rome's history. Joey showed us places where deaths and torture occurred and he added good-natured Irish humor. We saw Rome's main execution site, learned about a famous and enthusiastic executioner, learned about a lady who formed and sold a slow acting lethal poison to men and was later burned as a witch, learned about an order of monks who decorated their church with bones from corpses, and learned about a family who owned a private prison where inmates were tortured in the basement. All of these sites are still standing and Joey showed us all of them, in a humorous way. I highly recommend this tour. Being at night adds to the gruesome quality.

Very nice tour... very good guide. I could have expected more but still got enough. Rome is an ancient city and could have so many stories in this genre.

Wow, what an amazing experience! The guide was fantastic, and did a great job telling the story of Caravaggio and his painting in a very engaging way!

We had a great time on the tour! Showed us around some great spots and spoke in-depth around the artist and their work with passion. I learnt more than I thought I would on the trip and really enjoyed the guides enthusiasm!!

Makks was a very entertaining guide who presented a great narrative on the life of Caravaggio. We would never have found the painting and small churches on the tour without assistance. Highly recommended.

The Irish guy is a great story teller and knows his subject matter. Creates a great compelling tour. Informative and well presented. I studied art as a young man and this would a great tour for students and any lovers of art.

Joe is the best Tour guide! I didn’t know if I was in an Stadt up comedy show of a walking tour. He was really funny and kept us entertained until the very end. I definitely recommend him!!!

It was really interesting trip, it opened my eyes on a huge part of bio of Cavaraggio. Joe was amazing guide with passion to art and stories. He provided scarf to cover the shoulders which was really nice! I would recommend it to anybody interested in art and some bloody stories.

This is the ORIGINAL ghost tour. Not a copy cat. Info was amazingly presented and it was the first thing we did when we got to Rome. It was an amazing taste of the delights to come in the city!
