A very fun walking tour that takes you to lesser known parts of Rome and teaches you very interesting, darker facts about Rome. Our tour guide Joey was very engaging and had a fun but informative delivery of the stories. A great way to spend an evening in Rome!

Hands down THE BEST tour of our past three weeks of travel. Performative, funny, engaging, intriguing - all the good stuff. We had our curious 9 year old son in tow and they were super cool about it (despite our questionable parenting choices), and he was beyond mesmerised. These guys are ace.

Max was excellent. I will definitely be seeking him out for another tour on my next visit to Rome! Some real hidden gems on this tour. Max intertwined the history of Rome with the sites we visited, doing a great job in painting a detailed historical timeline whilst keeping it fun and engaging! Would be worthy of 6 stars, if only that was possible!

Very interesting tour!! It was evident the guide had a vast knowledge of the life and works of Caravaggio. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

The tour guide was great but the group was WAY too big. There were over 40 people in our group and no headphones so sometimes hard to hear unless you were in front of the guide. The guide was great and stories were fun but it would have been more enjoyable with a smaller group.

The tour was fantastic, lots of interesting and maybe macabre information about the eternal city. From the execution to the exorcist, everything was included!

I have travelled around the world and that tour was the best one so far!!! The way JOE organised the tour and the information provided was spectacular, very precise and creative. It was amazing to explore Rome from the history of Romans. I will never forget that experience. PS - love the Irish accent.
