Simon was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. He took us to various churches and even Michelangelo’s gravestone which the public cannot access. After trip he sent a summary of the walk with all the attractions we visited. Highly recommend this tour.

Simone, our guide, was AMAZING!! He was very engaging, factual, showed us hidden gems and funny to top it off. Time flew so fast with him. I learned so much about Rome on the tour. I took an 80 euro tour earlier in the day and Simone was way, way better. Best tour I've taken of Rome so far. Ask for Simone and expect an excellent experience.

It was very interesting to see a side of Rome apart from its Ancient History and it made me realize that the history of the city is way more complex than its glorious and old past. The guide has a really good way of explaining the city landscapes and it’s connection with its history and architecture

We had a fabulous tour with Jacopo! We loved the Baroque art focus, which was a nice change to the usual Classical/Roman architecture you see at the major tourist destinations. Jacopo was highly knowledgable and enthusiastic. Would highly recommend this tour if you want something outside the usual ruins route.

In short, this tour is special because it's informative, entertaining, and something different than what you might find in a guide book or a more standard tour. Highly recommend.

I have been on several Guru tours and Jacobo was by far the best guide we have had. He was knowledgeable, informative, engaged with his subject matter, kind and funny. He took time to answer all the questions we had. Narrowing down the subject to Baroque Italy was genius because it made for a 2 hour tour, the right amount, that I could enjoy and digest. Well done!
