Amazing, well-organized tour around Rome at night! Perfect guide — knowledgeable and funny. Great way to learn the some of the darker history of Rome. Laughed, shuddered, and did not want it to end! Totally recommended.

Must do!!!! This was my absolute favourite tour I’ve done with any free walking tour company. Joey was an amazing guide, a true story teller and had us completely engaged right from the first minute. I knew very little about Caravaggio (high school art history was 35 years ago !) but I enjoyed every single minute and am inspired to learn more. I did this tour with my university aged son and he came away from the tour wanting to add Art History classes ti his degree. That’s how engaging this tour was. Don’t miss it. My only regret is only discovering this tour on our last evening in Rome so too late to book on other tour offering by these guys (they do a ghost tour as well). Hidden gem. What a natural actor this tour guide is. Amazing.

I really recommend this tour! We were amazed by the amount of curiosities and facts that are not easy to find on the internet! Although we are not art lovers, story of Caravaggio told during the tour was breathtaking for us!

I had just come from the Galleria Borghese, where I got an intro to Caravaggio. Then this tour w/ Joey took us all over the city, into churches & down narrow streets... It was sooooo incredible putting together all the stories, matching them up w/ the paintings! This is a Must-Do for 'anyone' who has even a remote interest in Caravaggio! I'd do it again if & when I come back to Rome! Magnifico

I liked the tour and stories. I just wanted some more stops and more mysterious or more ghost stories as the name says.

It was our second tour with joey (afeter the ghost's One - totally recommended by the way). This guy was born to this. He captivate everyone so easily with historical facts while show you incredible pieces of art.

The “Who Killed Caravaggio?” with Joey was excellent. We have done many walking tours in various cities, always with very knowledgeable, interesting and fun guides. But in addition to all of these qualities, Joey is the best story teller we’ve ever experienced. This is a “cannot miss” tour and guide for anyone visiting Rome.

Our tour was amazing! I went on it last year which was lead by Max (I think) and when visiting Rome this year I took my mum. She LOVED it and so did I. It was great. Full of fun facts, scary history stories and over all great fun and very very interesting. If there is one tour you do in Rome, go on this one. The tour guides are energetic and knowledgable - you will not regret it!!
