Disappointing tour, would not recommend

This was hands down the best tour I’ve ever been on! Our guide, Ivan, was absolutely amazing. He was incredibly engaging and amazing storyteller. His English was flawless, too. A huge highlight for me was that I actually managed to solve the mystery of who killed Caravaggio! I enjoyed it so much that I would absolutely join any other tour guided by Ivan. Highly, highly recommended!

Lots of facts, nice walk

My friend and I really enjoyed this tour all thanks to our guide, Ivan. Even though we knew absolutely nothing about the Jews in Rome, Ivan's friendly and humourous way of storytelling made the sharing of historical facts come alive! A well-deserved five stars and we would recommend this tour to everyone!

Great tour. Ivan was very knowledgeable and informative. I was a bit concerned about the size of the group but Ivan managed the large group very well. We were all able to hear him clearly and it was easy to follow him.

The guide made the tour very entertaining and interesting. He gave always 2 perspectives of things- a religious and a scientific one, often in a funny and subtly sarcastic, but not offensive manner, which I really liked.

Second tour with Ivan - very entertaining and we learned a lot!

Ivan, our guide, had the right personality for the job. He gave us a lot of facts, but he made them fun and he had stories to tell us about certain occurrences in a rhetorical different neighborhoods. Some of the stories were heartwarming, some sad but all in all it was a really fine afternoon. We’ve been on a couple tours in Rome. One in particular was dull, dull dull, and I was afraid that was going to turn my grandson off to ever taking a tour again, but it was most enjoyable.

Christian is an very excellent guide and charismatic person :)
