Fantastic is an understatement. The whole experience from booking, to finding the meeting spot and then getting to know Max and Joey was very smooth. Joey did a terrific job walking us through some very interesting places filled with obscure facts. If you ask, Joey also has a great list compiled with recommendation for food around Rome!

Engaging and educational for both adults and children, none of whom was particularly well versed in art or knew who Caravaggio was before the tour. Highly recommend!

Joey was an amazing guide keept the tour very informative while light and funny ! We would definitely go again! :)

I liked the tour, it is different from other ones. But you have to know, what you are booking. It's in parts about murderers and death. It is no tour for children!

As a great admirer of Caravaggio ´s work this was the tour exactly for me, but I believe it is suitable for those who have seen Coloseo / Vatican / Pantheon and want to see some hiden masterpieces with the story related to them. Max was great as the guide, so I was satisfied.

Joey did a great job telling the stories, connecting them together to make it cohesive, and taking us to unique locations in the city. Was both gruesome and fun!

We were a family of 5 and everyone loved the tour, even the kids. The info was relevant, interesting and fun. It was above expectations for sure.

Max’s tour was presented in a form of story telling about Caravaggio. It was engaging and intellectually stimulating. We learned a lot about the artist and enjoyed the tour. Highly recommend.

Fantastic tour! Perfect thing if you don’t want to bar hop and want to explore the city at night while actually learning cool information. Best tour guide I’ve ever had and I actually feel like I remember what he said!! Really funny and great storytelling and stage presence! Highly highly recommend a huge highlight of the trip

A very enjoyable and educational tour. The tour exposes the bad events that happened in Rome and teaches its sad history but in a light and humorous way. It is highly recommended!

what an interesting tour! honestly didnt know what to expect but whatever subconscious expectations i might have had, they were certainly surpassed. i liked that we were split into smaller groups, with each having their own guide - made it super easy to actually understand the guide and feeling included (rather than being 1 lost sheep in a huge crowd) which reminds me: thanks a bunch to joey for telling the stories in a respectful manner while keeping it fun, entertaining and educational; hes a great storyteller! he also made an extra effort to talk to people between locations which i thought was really nice 😊 keep it up!

Eine echt gute Tour - mal eine andere Art und Weise Ecken von Rom zu sehen, ohne die typischen Sehenswürdigkeiten abzuklappern. Wir sind keine Kunstkenner, haben Dank der Erklärungen und Fun Facts jedoch viel Interessantes erfahren. Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen - war wirklich sehr gut. Der Guide war auch für Fragen aller Art offen. Die Tour ist auch für Personen geeignet, die ab und zu ein Päuschen oder eine Sitzgelegenheit benötigen, da man sich an den meisten Orten setzen konnte. :-)
