Max makes this tour incredible humorous and thought provoking as he explores the crazy lives of one of the most famous Italian painters. You can feel his passion for his work exude through his speech. I've taken a dozen different tours across Italy over the last month, ranging from free to expensive, across a variety of subjects - food, culture, history, and this tour beats them all. Max created a captivating and complete narrative that is very rare to find. He's an absolute expert on subject, whilst also making the history very accessible and fun. Loved this tour and will try to go on his other tour before leaving Rome.

As an art history student this tour was right up my alley and far exceeded my expectations. The information was interesting and fresh and held my interest the entire time.

Everything was great. The guide was calm, organized and really fun (even if all the stories were terrifying :D ) NOTE** be prepared for some dark stories and dark humor.
