Max was simply the best "guide" I've ever seen. Unbelievably prepared. You can notice a lot of work and preparation, besides his immense general knowledge of arts and history. In this tour he manages to mixture history, art and city masterfully. Very very impressive. Don't hesitate in doing it. It's the best thing you can do on your visit to Rome.

Max is one of the best storytellers in Rome! His passion and knowledge for the history of Rome transcends that of a regular guide. I enjoyed Max’s mystery tour and was surprisingly intrigued with the Caravaggio tour because I had no clue who Caravaggio was 😂. Max came prepared with monocles for us, kept feeding the donation machine in the churches to keep the lights on for the paintings and provided us exceptional insight, not only to Caravaggio’s life as an artist, but his early, childhood and adult life as well. I HIGHLY recommend the Caravaggio tour even if you don’t know who Caravaggio is because, trust me, you’ll get to know him within minutes. Thank you for a great two walking-tours Max!

The tour is really worth to be attended. A lot of interesting and spicy details of Caravaggio life. Good way of expressing the information and some nice interactive things that you don’t expect. I highly recommend to visit it!

The best tour in rome ever!

Amazing night tour in Rome

This was my first experience with a free walking tour, and it was a great one. Max really seemed to be a great example of what a good tourleader should be. He told interesting stories and made jokes and when we were walking from place to place he would have a chat with the takers of the tour. It wasn’t boring for a moment.

It was the best tour we’ve ever had❤️ Very interesting information, top notch preparation. If you love or even don’t love tour’s — you should go with Max. He is cool🇮🇹

Max is a storyteller like no other. He knows his facts but adds personality in a big way. He makes it fun and time passes so quickly, all you want is for him to keep talking. He is friendly, sassy and all around top notch guide. I am unhappy that I can't take his other tour because I'm leaving. Much better than a museum or choose your own adventure. Thanks Max! It was fantastic.

Great guide, he was engaging and knowledgeable! You don’t have to know anything about art to learn a lot of interesting things about Michelangelo’s fascinating life and the sites of Rome at the same time! Max even provided mini binoculars to observe the details of the paintings which added context to the story telling. We totally recommend!
