It was amazing, not really about ghosts so don't be put off by that. It was more about the gruesome past. Max our guide was very engaging and we all had a fab time.

It takes some energy to keep going as late as this tour is, especially after a full day walking through Rome... But it is definitely worth it... The tour is excellent... He has so many stories to tell, about so many simple, innocuous looking buildings... And you'll never look at Rome the same way again... Just so much history in every road and building and it was absolutely fascinating to see it come to life...

Very entertaining, not the stereotypical “let’s visit all famous locations and read out Wikipedia articles” tour. Our guide Max was professional and personable. It’s always a pleasure to watch a person who is passionate about his craft. So, if you’re on the fence, book the tour, you won’t regret it.

Max was a very nice and enthusiastic Guide who tells great Stories about the darker side of Roman history and shows little gems that are very hard to find.

A really fun way to spend the evening! Would highly recommend. Always fun to hear about the gory past of a city, and about all the haunted buildings (which are now airbnbs).

Max was a really good storyteller. The stories and urban legends were really great and the spots that he choose were a perfect combination. I really recommend the tour to have a look to the “other side” of Rome.
