Max was superb! He was knowledgeable, entertaining and makes the tour fun. I've recommended the tour to my friends as there are tons of interesting things I learned about all the murders. It might make your blood boil on the injustice though. Nonetheless, great tour! :)

The tour to do if you're looking for something else. Although this guide knows the history and special places as you also can find on Wikipedia, this tour gives you the special (creepy?) touch of the same Rome, seen with different eyes. Wow!

Max was a great storyteller and immersed us in the atmosphere of the other side of Rome, filled with stories of killings and other atrocities. He managed to keep it the right level of creepy, entertaining and informative. Absolutely recommend doing the tour 👌

Max was amazing. Let me start there. He was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, animated, and above all, extremely professional. He brought all the history to life. He made the macabre history of the actions of the Vatican and the horrors of Rome come alive in such a great and fun way. I would implore anybody looking for a different and intriguing way to look at Rome to book his tour.

100% recommend going to Max's Ghost Tour. I've been to three different tours in Rome and his was hands down the best. The enthusiasm and level of knowledge he had was outstanding. More than ghost stories but historical stories and characters to hear about. His descriptions and ability to act out stories was captivating. While standing in the locations, I could visualise everything.

We highly recommend the Ghost Tour with Max, if you’re looking for a less touristy thing to do in Rome. The city is beautiful at night and Max has a very charming way to tell stories about Rome’s most interesting Ghost and witch stories. Thank you for this extraordinary experience!

For my first time in Italy, and Rome I would highly recommend Max. if you’re in to macabre, sightseeing, general history and a few laughs then would pop this on your list of things to do
