It was my first ‘ghost tour’ and I wasn’t sure what to expect, but Max told us interesting stories from history in a fun and entertaining way as we walked through the dark streets of Rome. It was an amazing tour and his stories gave you insight into the dark history of Rome! At the same time he was entertaining and it was beautiful walking through the buildings (all amazingly lit).

Abbiamo fatto questo tour un sabato sera un po' per curiosità dato che siamo molto appassionati di storie e leggende su Roma ma Max ci ha veramente lasciati a bocca aperta. Simpatico e gentile ha una padronanza perfetta dell'inglese. Sa bene come intrattenere ed incuriosire i suoi ascoltatori e questo tour era veramente ben fatto. Storie e leggende "macabre" raccontate ad arte da Max che è veramente una guida strepitosa. Sicuramente ci faremo guidare da lui in altri luoghi magici di Roma! Assolutamente consigliato!

It was so fun and interesting! Max is absolutely fantastic guide, and good in person. Only thing was bad, that the tour wasn’t longer, could have listed to the stories more and more.

This was a super fun and interesting evening! Although some stories were so horrible in terms of what happened in this city, Max brought the stories with charm and lightness. Great and original tour, very interesting stories and nice guru

Amazing tour! Max knew how to perfectly combine creepy stories, legends and facts, always with a funny remark at the end which made the tour so much fun. We really enjoyed it, and would recommend everyone staying in Rome with a bit more time to do it.

Max is friendly, fun, interesting and efficient. Gets you from A to B while keeping you super entertained - mixing in history with urban legends. He also points out airbnbs you might want to avoid (spoiler alert - they might be little haunted). Great tour!

Guru's ghost walk was many times more interesting than the Renaissance walk that I did in Florence. Content can be read online over various credible sources but in order to captivate the people it is important to build a rhythm & guru was good.
