Jacobo did an amazing job showing us around and giving us fun and interesting background stories of places and families of Rome while keeping the tour entertaining. Even on a very hot day the tour was great since he picked the perfect places for longer stops like inside churches or secret gardens with chairs in the shade. I'm glad we did this tour and would absolutely recommend it!

High quality tour. Wasn't exactly what we expected as the tour wasn't limited too, but did more focus on the Baroque period. In saying this, as advertised it did talk about the major players in creating the city as we now know it. We knew little about either coming in, but left feeling thoroughly satisfied with what we learnt & understood the relevance of what we learnt to better understand the history of the city. Jacobo was a great guide, very passionate, knowledgeable and got the info across clearly, as well as having good personality and humour to keep it interesting. He answered all our questions with ease and there was a good flow to the tour. Added an extra layer to the big tourist attractions and showed us cool parts of the city we wouldn't have found otherwise. Would 100% recommend.
