What our guests say

Fabulous and fascinating tour with the best guide. Jacob is so articulate, injecting fun and fact into his commentary. Highly recommend.

Great experience, as always with Guru walk tours.

One of the best walking yours I've ever been, Jacob was an incredible guide!

Jacob was a great guide he mixed information with fun facts and how human behaviour and excesses create legends but not admired if looked upon in detail. An important lesson for us all. I would recommend Jacob to everyone

It was informative and he kept it lively till the end!

Absolutely Wonderful. Jacob was so knowledgeable, he was fun, he showed us incredible places and his English was impressive

J was very smart and knowledgeable on this specialized topic about families. It was one of the best digested info I could get on a tour. It was also delivered in a fun and interesting manner, with jokes and narratives. Thanks so much, J! Keep doing well and hope to see you soon back in Rome. -Sophia

Had a great time on this tour! It was super informative and engaging! Jacob was an awesome guide too. Would recommend!!

Jacopo was one the best guides I’ve had while on these walking tours. Highly highly recommend!

Sehr unterhaltsam trotz schwieriger Materie. Ein Erlebnis!

You must do it!

Great stories, gossip and scandals behind the history of Rome. We went into some unexpected, hidden places (including Michelangelo's original resting place). Jacob is very informative, knowledgeable and yet also very entertaining.

It was a wonderful tour! We’ve learned a lot and had a really great and funny tour guide.

I very much enjoyed the tour with Jakopo, he gave very insightful information and he was very aware of the topics he covered. The tour was a lot of fun, I heard a lot of interesting facts, visited some hidden places. I can only recommend it!

Great tour about the families of Rome, the guide Jacob was very engaging & knowledgeable. I would recommend this tour! A+!

I have travelled all around the world and I usually don’t miss any good group tour as it is the best way to have a crash course in history. This guy, Yaqoup is the best so far in the whole world. I repeat. He is the best.

Awesome tour awesome tour guide, or as he calls himself a narrator :) Great experience, totally recommend it!

Iacopo (Jacob) was outstanding. I took so many of these tours throughout the years but his knowledge of art and history is simply exceptional. He’ll Shoot facts and context out at any question you may have. Fully recommended!!

I wasn't quite sure what to expect but the guide was brilliant in every way and introduced us to a part of Rome's history we didn't know we were interested in!

It was amazing highly recommend
