What our guests say

Great Tour with lot's of information about how Rome has changed over the centuries. Many stories sound like Game of Throne plots, probably because they are.. The guide was super articulate and passionate about the subject. The tour gave me a much better understanding of the forces that shaped rome.

We had a great Time Our guide worked on his tour to gave us all thé information he could. Thanks a lot

Ich kann die Tour nur empfehlen. Es waren auch viele Orte abseits der bekannten Wege dabei.

Our guide Max was extremely knowledgeable and engaging. I felt like we covered a lot in 2 hours and even though we have been to Rome before, we visited places that were new to us and learned lots of new and fascinating facts.

Loved the idea of a historical talk about the foundations of Rome. Add to that, visits to unique sites that tie the stories of leading Roman families together. Our path avoided major tourist crowds for a more intimate environment with the guide and other walkers.

Max was excellent. I will definitely be seeking him out for another tour on my next visit to Rome! Some real hidden gems on this tour. Max intertwined the history of Rome with the sites we visited, doing a great job in painting a detailed historical timeline whilst keeping it fun and engaging! Would be worthy of 6 stars, if only that was possible!

Max is amazing! Strongly recommend to anyone who wants the information settle nicely with jokes and conspiracy stories :) thank you!

Max made this tour an incredible experience for our first time in Rome. We were all encapsulated by the rich, and at times scandalous stories, as we toured around the historic sights. We also loved the not so obvious sights Max included and were grateful for his tips on places to eat and see post tour. Overall it was a fantastic tour

When in Rome, joining Max on one (or all) of his tours is simply a pleasure. He is very knowledgeable and passionate, time just flies by as you listen. We enjoyed diving back into the history of Rome and learning about important families and their dynamics. You can look forward to seeing places you just don't stumble upon by yourself and being very well entertained on the way! Loved it very much, thank you! :)

If you are tired of monotonous excursions, this is the right place for you. The tour guides will tell you about this beautiful city of Rome in a unique way. I liked that after the tour there was an opportunity to talk to the tour guide, to ask additional questions. My friends and I also asked for advice on where to go tonight. We got a lot of options and we are going to have a cool time tonight. I liked everything very much, I will definitely come back again and recommend this tour to everyone I know!
