What Our Guests Say

The tour guide was a local and gave his interpretation which was wonderful. I book on guru walk all the time as I’m guaranteed that there’ll be hidden gems and tales to discover always :)

I had a wonderful time on this tour! Our guide was knowledgeable, engaging, and passionate about Caravaggio and his fascinating life. The stories were brought to life in a way that made the history and artwork really interesting and easy to understand. The tour was well organized, enjoyable, and full of interesting details that I would have missed exploring on my own. I highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in art, history, or simply discovering a different side of Rome. Thank you for a great experience!

Great tour with Ivan, we also enjoyed (and kept using) his list of recommendations.

Excelente tour. Serena fue una guía increíble, muy clara, simpática y entretenida. ¡Súper recomendable!

Es una muy linda experiencia. Nos ayudó a ponerle contexto y entender el valor de cada monumento conocido,

Christian was very informative, engaging us in Ancient Roman history with many stories of the Roman Empire & Republic. He was patient in answering questions, and managing a big group of >25 people. Thank you for a fantastic introduction to Rome & to Ancient Rome history!

Jacobo was a fantastic group leader. His presence and presentation of historical information was absolutely enthralling. He is a very personable young man who clearly has a passion for his work. We are searching for our next Walk About Tour.

This was a fabulous walking tour. Leonardo is a brilliant guide and answered all questions expertly. The tour was appropriately paced and the variety of locations were interesting. We enjoyed it very much.

He was very good and knowlegable. He was a litte distracted by one individual with irrelevant questions.

Ivan gave some exciting insights into the Jewish life and history in Rome. Apart from that we learned more about Trastevere and got great recommendations!

Excellent tour

Ivan was knowledgeable and fun! He gave a great tour in an interesting lightweight manner and we greatly enjoyed the stories.

I would give Ivan ten stars if at all possible. I've taken this tour yrs ago and it was great then. This time, great is definitely an understatement. Facts, figures, legends and fables...we heard it all. 1.5 hours flew in what seemed like 15 mins. Amazing tour guide, great experience all around!

Serena was funny, clear, informative and a very quick-thinker. Her ability to remember all the dates, names and information of the city is extremely admirable. We are really glad to have her as our guide!

Good stories, sometimes difficult to understand. Overall enjoyed the tour.

Ivan is an very engaging guide. Extremely interesting and informative. Truly, this was one of the better tours I've been on.
