Max was phenomenal! This tour was one of the most exciting walking tours I’ve been on in years! Max created an eloquent story like narrative that keeps all attendants very entertained. On top of this he asks for the groups input and allows group members to make decisions regarding how the tour will unfold keeping everyone engaged. There are numerous interactive elements of the tour where members had an opportunity to study works up close. Furthermore, he knows Rome incredibly well! He gave my friends and I great recommendations on food and drink in a wide variety of settings. Do not miss out on an opportunity to take a tour with max!

Max was amazing, I learned a lot during the tour, the timing of the stops was good, the information was amazing and the guide has a good sense of humour. I was really immersed in the era Caravaggio lived.

The best tour we did in Rome! So informative without being an information overload. Visited some great locations which we wouldn’t have gone too otherwise. Have a broader understanding of art history now than before also. Would highly recommend!

An unusual slant to this tour helped everyone to get involved from the start.
