It's definitely an off the beaten path tour vs the usual Colosseum, Pantheon etc - you get to see a niche 'side quest' as it were. Simone was an excellent guide with superb knowledge and story telling. Highly recommended

Very beautiful tour! Very good informations. We havent read anything about the Rome history so it was a bit hard to understand the names and because of so many information, guide was speaking a bit faster which is good if you speak and u derstand good english but if your english is not good you will struggle with understanding. All in all we enjoyed the tour.

Excellent guide who provided an insightful history on the families of Rome and included a tour through the lesser known street, chapels and cathedrals of the city

It was a very cool neighborhood to walk through. The guide was very entertaining. The content was a little too gory. I worked have rather learned more about fallen popular mainstream people like Julius Ceasar etc.

A very interesting tour to learn about some important figures who made the history of Rome.

We had a great time with our guide learning about the backstory to many historical sites. It was not an overwhelming amount of walking and plenty of breaks for resting while we get information, so it’s very doable for people that might be concerned with walking. My 70+ parents did it just fine

Ivan was amazing! He is good at delivery and obviously passionate about his work. The amount of walking and stopping to listen are well balanced. Content is very good and I like that it is all historical facts (he even suggests books for more information about the subjects). Length of the tour is also good. I am happy to have joined this tour!
