Very knowledgable and entertaining guide, with useful information in and outside of the tour topics! :)

Jacob was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the history of Rome and was able to make the subject interesting and informative at the same time. We visited several churches, which were off the beaten track, as well as the Trevi Fountain and the Piazza Navona. Only negative comment was that it was an extremely large group, of forty people and it was difficult to hear what was being said at times.

We loved this! We had visited the main attractions already and had some extra time and wanted a new experience that was affordable. Was a fantastic tour. Jacob was terrific highly recommend!

Very entertaining and not dull at all! Also got a very nice list of restaurants and bars recommendations as a plus :)

Jacob was awesome in weaving the entire story and building up the suspense … but most importantly he gave a great insight into the works of Caravaggio and his contemporaries and comparative analysis of his works with other legends… this trip is a must do…

Hi, Jake to us on a very interesting tour of Rome. In distance it wasn’t very long but in content it was very full. Learnt lots about the wealthy families of Rome and the incredible history they left with a little scandal along the way! Great tour would highly recommend.

Jacobo is the BEST guide for such kind of art history tours that I have ever been to. It’s really lovely to see him talking about Caravaggio so passionately. He is well-prepared, great in storytelling with lots of interesting facts. Even for me who knows Caravaggio quite a bit before the tour can still learn new things from the tour. I’m sure you won’t be disappointed.

Our second tour with Jacob - we were once again very satisfied with his knowledge and style of presenting information. The tour has a clear subject and is very focused on both art and colorful history of Caravaggio’s life. There is a moment during the tour when you will visit one of the churches to see a Caravaggio’s painting so be prepared to dress accordingly (cover shoulders, etc). Jacob is very charismatic, funny and knowledgeable. He knows how to tell a story and is very helpful in general knowledge of Rome and recommended places to visit/eat. He will answer all your questions.

We were impressed by Jacobe's knowledge and his storytelling style. Very informative, but at the same time definitely not boring. I would recommend anyone to start their visit to Rome with this tour. With this walking tour throughout our stay we found more streets and squares connected to important Roman families. It was great!

Story of Michelangelo is crazy, interesting, funny and the guide knew so Much about art and story, IT was amazing to listen to him!
