Leo was an amazing guide. We didn’t even feel the one hour and a half and kept looking forwards to the next story. Gives you a great sense of how people lived in old (and not so old) roman times. Enjoyed the late evening walk around old Rome (especially with the heat). Would definitely recommend to visitors 💯

Our guide Jacob was a fountain of knowledge and was engaging, as well as very cool 🌟🌟 The tour was about 2.5hrs long with many breaks along the way and spots to sit, which gave us a thorough introduction to the history of Rome (as well as its interconnections with other Italian cities), and showcased the less romanticized side of history as well. At the end of the tour, he provided us with written recommendations :) 10/10!! Thank you!

Jacopo was excellent. He has a rich knowledge of history of Rome. He got us in the private access to Basilica dei Santi XII Apostoli that belongs to the Vatican. When appropriate, he inserted the back story and jokes which makes it insightful and fun.

Jacopo is very knowledgeable, passionate and caring. He did an amazing job with such a big group of people, made sure everyone feels informed and connected. We had a really good time learning about Rome's history and some stories of the significant sites in the city.

¡Ha sido una gran sorpresa! No esperábamos encontrar en este tour la cara B de la historia de Roma. Lucas hizo muy buen trabajo en mantener un balance entre historias trágicasy misteriosas y el sentido del humor. Fue un tour muy completo y además Lucas lo personalizó entre los presentes. Un tour que no tiene desperdicio y que recomendaría a cualquiera que visite Roma.

Great! Super fun guide and content!

Our tour was amazing thanks to Max! We had just done the Sistine Chapel and Basilica Tour in the morning with a different tour guide, which was a paid $850 dollar tour for five of us but was not as well thought out as this one. Max was professional, funny and thoughtful. He gave us plenty of opportunities to sit and rest in the shade while in 30 degree weather during our 2 hour tour. I can’t believe he doesn’t get paid for what he does!!! Thanks Max for a wonderful experience!

The tour with Max was an extraordinary experience that kept us at the edge of our seats (even though it is a walking tour hahaha), great opportunity to see some of Caravaggio’s art. Definitely recommend if you like learning about art and its history as well as mystery!
