Joey was the best tour guide ever- if I got home and found out everything he said was fabricated, I wouldn’t have even been mad, because it was such an enjoyable and entertaining time. He mixed narrative entertainment with art history and provided a base historical context, all while presenting it in an accessible and entertaining way. Joey is like a mix between Jack Sparrow and a cheeky leprechaun.

This tour is a great chance to learn some interesting facts about the Roman past that you wouldn’t maybe in a normal tour. Our guide Max did a great job, it was really fun!

When in Rome, joining Max on one (or all) of his tours is simply a pleasure. He is very knowledgeable and passionate, time just flies by as you listen. We enjoyed diving back into the history of Rome and learning about important families and their dynamics. You can look forward to seeing places you just don't stumble upon by yourself and being very well entertained on the way! Loved it very much, thank you! :)

We had an incredible experience with our tour guide, Joey, during the night ghost tour of Rome. It truly surpassed all our expectations and became the highlight of our trip! My kids were absolutely enthralled by the tour, and they couldn't stop talking about it throughout the entire trip. Joey's extensive knowledge, witty humor, and captivating storytelling kept our entire group engaged and entertained throughout the entire tour.
