What our guests say

Loved the tour. Max is a storyteller and kept us engaged throughout. With so much of history there was not a single moment of boredom. He managed the crowd well and answered all our queries. 100% recommended :)

Max was an absolute legend of a Guide, you could see how knowledgeable he was in every aspect but at the same time he delivered all the information with fun and interesting stories which would be suitable for anyone (from History teachers - to people knowing absolutely nothing about the Ancient Rome). Very informative, and well put together. I have been to over a 40 of free walking tours like this across Europe and I would put Max's tour in the top 2 maybe even number 1😜. This is how a tour should look like, keep it up.

We did 3 tours with whatabouttours and they were all absolutely worth it including this one! Had a great time sightseeing and learning about Roman history in an entertaining way. Can’t recommend these guys enough!

It was our first day in Rome and what a great way to start it. Max was very expressive, funny and full of anecdots. We recommend without hesitation this tour.
