One of the best tours I have ever taken. The storytelling and passion was wonderful. Caravaggio was someone I knew little about before the tour but Max brought his story and character to life. I've been inspired to learn even more as a result. I cannot recommend this tour enough, perhaps one day a hollywood movie will be made of Caravaggio's life but, until then, this tour is the best way to experience the tale

I would have given 10 ⭐ for this walk if I can. The best out of the 6 walks we did in Rome. Max is a fantastic story teller, keeping you enthralled from the beginning to the end. We started off not knowing anything about Caravaggio, I admit I signed up because of the title. At the end of the tour, we learned so much. Which later makes the trip to Galleria Burghese so much more educational and interesting. Do sign up, I can guarantee you will not regret it.

A very informative tour and something that we would not have found on our own.

The tour was interesting and amusing! We were also given some other hystorical facts besides Caravaggio and his life. Max keps us interested for the whole two hours. Take this tour if you like art and history!

Who knew there was an artist named Caravaggio? Not us! Excellent tour that gave you something different to think about. After a month in Italy, we didn't need to hear about anymore ruins, etc. Max was fun, knowledgeable and genuine. Grazie mille

In a week I have taken 4 very informative tours. They have all been very very good. But Max is the Max. The Caravaggio mystery tour is the highlight of my week. I have admired the artist’s works for years and have read his history. Max brought it all to life, to the real life in Rome at the time. Max has an amazing breadth of knowledge and a down to earth, engaging, colorful and historically credible presentation of Caravaggio’a too brief life and powerful impact on art. Over the hours of the tour, Max took time with each participant on our walks between itinerary stops, easily answered fully any inquiries, made us laugh, and made me want for more of this fabulous tour. This was a super fun Way to get to see the city! Max was great (you’ll get to see a bunch of the churches and squares, and hear about their story, But just in a more exciting Way!)

This was just the best walking tour I have ever been on. Max is passionate, a great storyteller, and has excellent English skills. This tour was very unconventional, talking about an Italian artist's life - Caravaggio - in the city, with a lot of insights into the history of Rome. I was amazed. Super recommend it!

This was an amazing tour, if you are at all interested in art or Caravaggio, definitely take it! You will learn all about his life but in a fun way, whilst walking the streets of Rome and visiting (as well as learning about) some of the most beatiful places of the city. Great storytelling, Max is very knowledgable and entertaining. ☺️

We had a fantastic time. I loved how the tour was presented. We learned a lot and was entertained the entire time. Max was also very patient with a curious 8 year old and answered all of his questions.
