I took this tour two years ago, and it was honestly the best tour I had ever been on. I don’t remember the guide’s name, but he was fantastic. This time, I brought my family along, and unfortunately, we were all a bit disappointed. The storytelling wasn’t great, the information wasn’t presented in a logical order, and the guide’s English was difficult to understand. On top of that, there were too many people in the group, making it hard to hear the guide properly. It was a shame, especially considering how amazing my previous experience had been.

The guide was okay, but the tour felt a bit dull. Jumping around in time instead of keeping a chronological order made it less engaging. An average experience overall.

I had such a great experience on Simone’s Caravaggio walking tour. He brought the history of Caravaggio to life in a way that was easy to follow, engaging, and genuinely fascinating. I especially loved walking through Rome and seeing the places connected to Caravaggio’s life and work while hearing the stories behind the paintings.

Iris was really amazing! It was one of the best Tours I’ve attended. From the way she was explaining things it was obvious that she loves what she’s doing and she’s an expert on the matter.

Really engaging tour! Jacobo was excellent - enthusiastic about the topic and also an engaging storyteller. I (accidentially) learned a lot about Rome of that era, not just the art, and got a great sense of the city back in the day. Highly recommend!

Great tour and very informative, we learnt a lot

What a great and informative tour! We learned a lot about the very interesting Michaelangelo/caravaggio. A great introduction to all the art we would encounter in Roma.

Ivan took us into Caravaggio's world and Rome in the 17h century. It was educational, entertaining and an exceptional experience. I can recommend this tour for everyone! You will learn about the city, walk the streets and churches with a different perspective and have a good laugh!

Giacobbe/Jacob was great. This is the best walking tour I've ever done. It was an interesting combination of history, entertainment and enthusiasm. Amazing guide, amazing storytelling. I wish there was more! Only regret is not booking this tour earlier. Otherwise I'd have done multiple.

Very good tour! Ivan was fun, entertaining and very knowledgeable. We didn't know much about Caravaggio when we booked the tour so it was a nice surprise... One of the most entertaining tour I have ever done. Highly recommend!
