This is our second tour with max ( if you didn't go to the other its a must) And what can i say he was excellent. I promise you that until the end of the story you will want to read by yourself the biography of Caravaggio. Dont think just book Maxs tours and you wont regret it.

Max is a spectacular guide and storyteller. I was skeptical about this tour and booked it because I love Caravaggio's work. Had no idea what to expect. What we got was an adventure and one of the most entertaining afternoons of our whole trip. We got to see and learn so much, and Max presented the perfect balance of facts, mysteries, intrigue, and sight seeing. I loved it!

Max makes this tour incredible humorous and thought provoking as he explores the crazy lives of one of the most famous Italian painters. You can feel his passion for his work exude through his speech. I've taken a dozen different tours across Italy over the last month, ranging from free to expensive, across a variety of subjects - food, culture, history, and this tour beats them all. Max created a captivating and complete narrative that is very rare to find. He's an absolute expert on subject, whilst also making the history very accessible and fun. Loved this tour and will try to go on his other tour before leaving Rome.
