A great tour, fascinating, interesting and funny. Very recommended!!!
What a refreshing and exciting experience this tour was. Max knew about much more than art. Any questions that were asked were answered enthusiastically and comprehensively. Truly the best tour I’ve been on in decades. I encourage anyone and everyone to try to participate in any if Max’s tours. Apparently he is also a hiking guide and i bet he’s phenomenal at that as well. Max is a true superstar and made everyone feel like part of the journey snd made eye contact and banter with everyone.
Max, the guru narrator, weaves a great tale about a phenomenal painter who eventually gets killed. At least a few had motive and opportunity to kill him. It’s the back story that is most interesting and Max brought it to life. I’d participate in any of Max’s walking tours. He’s awesome!
Max was really informative and made the trip fun. It was a good introduction to the area as well as learning lots about Caravaggio!
Very interesting and fun walking tour (even for me who isn't that interested in art). Definitely recommend it!!
Very interesting and eye-opening
Very fun tour. Max was informative and had a great sense of humour. Great!!!!
An excellent tour and an exceptional guide, Max. A fun mix of mystery and history!
Please book this tour! You will not be disappointed, enjoy a brilliant tour of art, history and adventure.
The tour was amazing, we highly recommend it! Lots of fun facts and a dose of mystery made it an incredible experience, thank you Max!
Max's trip is good. It is interesting, he takes a complicated which without the tour you won't even get exposed to and succeeds to explain it very well. However, the whole 'narative' and the 'murder mystery' he talks about in the description build very high expectations and acctualy the tour is not really about it - it mostly is about art. So it didn't meet the expectations, but it still was a good tour. Max is charming, he has alot of style and the tour is mostly about style, so I really recommend that one. We took it on our first day in rome and it was a great exposition
Max is a both professional and passionate guide! Perfect experience, many thanks!
Great tour through some sites in Rome that we may never have seen and certainly never have appreciated without this tour! Max was very engaging and spoke with passion which made it easy to follow and never boring.
Whatever you are doing, guys, drop it this very moment and run, not walk, to join the tour by Max on the murderer of Caravaggio! You’ll get smarter and will have tons of fun! Max is in his own league as a tour guide! Bravo, Max!
A MUST BOOK TOUR with MAX: Fun, Flexible and Passionate tour of Caravaggio’s life and work. One our last day in Rome, my partner reluctantly agreed to join me in this tour. Let me pre phase by saying we are not art people. It was a cold and rainy day. And everything pointed to the tour not working out… until Max politely began the tour. He had all of the participants’ attentions with his tight storytelling and engaging jokes. Caravaggio was a wild man, and this tour is the wild card he deserves to be told by. With its refreshing approach to history to its very accessible entry to the art, do yourself a favor and book this tour.
Max was excellent, I loved the tour. He made my day ;)
Fabulous! Very in-depth knowledge presented in a fun, funny, warm and engaging manner. My mother and I simply adored this tour!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
Our first outing with GuruWalk, will not be the last! This is an excellent tour. We’ve been very disappointed with the quality of audio guides and historical plaques on this trip, and this was very much the antidote to those frustrations
