This was a greta tour and on elf the highlights of our trip. We learned too much about Caravaggio. I feel like I have. much better understanding of the man, the times and Roman history. Max brings it all to life in a vibrant and memorable way that cannot be had through simply reading. He is so we'll informed and professional. I wish all tour guides were this enthusiastic, educated and entertaining. He is awesome!

Max is very knowledgeable about Caravaggio and manages to bring his spirit alive in this tour. You get to see some of his best pieces in Rome, during a very entertaining tour! I would totally recommend, even if you are not familiar with the painter.

Max is a legend, this tour is amazing. He should be on the stage or something, because this was immersive. Take the tour, tip the guy, you won't regret it.

We had a great tour with Max! He know s his stuff and really keeps you engaged throughout the whole tour. I was not bored for even one second. In this tour you will get to know Caravaggio and why he painted like he did. Max is kind and will chat up with everyone a bit between walking from place to place. If I had to say one thing/advise is " please for those who are not native , you talk really fast sometimes haha" (my mums comment) But overall I very much recommend it. Much better than any of the "official" toura of agencies I did.

Beside the fact that Max is very personable and likable, he was extremely interesting, informative and knowledgeable! He made Caravaggio come to life and explored all the personal depths of Caravaggio’s life as well as his artwork. The mystery aspect and puzzle surrounding Caravaggio’s death held everyone’s interest until the very end. I would one hundred percent recommend this tour and 100% recommend Max!

Great story teller

This was the best tour I took in Rome during my trip. Max managed to combine mystery and art and it was truly amazing. These two hours of the tour pased really fast with a guide interesting and funny as Max :)

Very interesting and informative tour, Max is a great professional guide

Max was extremely knowledgeable about renaissance art and the city of Rome. The tour itself was engaging and fun, especially for those who love a good historical scandal. I learned a lot and enjoyed it immensely!
