Joey is an excellent and engaging storyteller. He is animated and uses inflection in vocal style adding greatly to the enjoyment of the tour. The places and stories of these hideous people and ghosts was very entertaining. Highly recommended!

Really enjoyed the tour with Joey. His delivery of bite sized history facts behind each of the buildings/spots that he brought us to was very captivating and was extensive enough. The duration was just right as well!! Would really recommend to anyone who would like to know more of the dark history of this city.

Leonardo was a great story teller, witty, fun, friendly, smart. Besides delivering good stories he also gave us some good recommendations and after the tour he walked us to Trastevere and showed us some more places there. I definitely recommend this tour

I've participated in many free walking tours, this was by far one of the best experiences I've had. Our guide, who looked like he came out of Jennifers body and sacrificed her for his Indie band fame, was charming, edgy and had just the right mix of sarcastic jokes and conspiracy theories at hand. I also really enjoyed the unique subject of the tour since they're usually pretty generic. Disclaimer it was not "xy city dungeon"-kind of scary, like a fun fare ghost house, which I really appreciated. All in all we had a great time. Would definitely do it again!

Amazing tour!! Nothing less than amazing. I’ve been in many and I don’t usually bother to review but this tour was just too good not to comment. As for the guide, kept me interested and i could not stop smiling while listening to him even when he went into some bad historic facts. Fully suggest this!!
