Max is a great tour guide who is full of knowledge about Rome. This tour has a lot of murder and abuse in it's tales from the past. I agree with the discription, it is not for young children. I wish the tour would have been longer.

Max has deep historic knowledge and incredible storytelling skills. He is really polite and delivers an absolutely immersive experience.

I had the pleasure of joining Max's Ghosts and Mysteries Free Tour in Rome, and I have to say it was one of the most memorable tours I've ever taken. Max's knowledge of the city's haunted places, murder sites, execution locations, and urban legends is truly impressive. What sets Max apart is his ability to blend historical facts with humor, making for an entertaining and informative tour. His dark humor had me laughing even at the most gruesome stories, which is not an easy feat. The itinerary was well planned, taking us to some of the city's most iconic locations, including Castel Sant'Angelo, Via Giulia, Saint Mary of the Oration and Death, Fountain of the Mascherone, Piazza Farnese, and Campo De 'Fiori. Each location had a story to tell, and Max's storytelling ability made it an unforgettable experience. It was fascinating to learn about the kind executioner who became a best-selling author, the most successful serial killer in history, and the Romans' contribution to recycling. Overall, I highly recommend Max to anyone looking for an informative, entertaining, and spine-tingling experience. I will be booking Max`s other tour – Who Killed Caravaggio, so you can look forward to a review on my experience there too!
