Entertaining and informative.. lots of fun
Excellent tour! Fun way to see some beautiful art and learn a lot about an extremely interesting painter. Truly brought the subject to life in a unique way.
Jacobo a été parfait !! C'était vraiment génial ! Je recommande à 100%. Le guide a été très instructif, drôle et c’était très intéressant. Il a rendu la visite très vivante et c’était super appréciable.
Our tour was amazing thanks to Max! We had just done the Sistine Chapel and Basilica Tour in the morning with a different tour guide, which was a paid $850 dollar tour for five of us but was not as well thought out as this one. Max was professional, funny and thoughtful. He gave us plenty of opportunities to sit and rest in the shade while in 30 degree weather during our 2 hour tour. I can’t believe he doesn’t get paid for what he does!!! Thanks Max for a wonderful experience!
The tour with Max was an extraordinary experience that kept us at the edge of our seats (even though it is a walking tour hahaha), great opportunity to see some of Caravaggio’s art. Definitely recommend if you like learning about art and its history as well as mystery!
The best tour in rome with jacob. He is amazing!!!!!!!!!!!
This is a great insight into who Caravaggio was and how he got there. It is quite a bit of walking and only goes into two churches
Max is a fantastic guide. He told us a fascinating tale about Rome taking us into 16th century life, art, relationship, style and so much more. The tour had a great tempo, the venues were great and the group dynamics was excellent. Max made the group feel like we've been traveling together already.. Thanks Max, your love and passion to Rome and it's Arts is brilliant!!
He told the life story of Caravaggio in details including his behaviour that led to his jailings many times. The description of the paintings he gave was vivid and incredible. The way he presented was fun and like the mystery telling. This was much more than I know about Caravaggio. So he had def numerous new info to me. I highly recommend this GuruWalk with home. It is a memorable one for me.
An absolute must if you are into art!!! Loved our tour and our host Max!!! Thank You for such an enlightened evening!!
The best walking tour ever. 100 percent the best presenter and guide
Amazing tour! The tour guide really brought the stories of Caravaggio to life!
The Guide Max and everything about the tour was great, highly recommended
Fun tour and a great way to see Rome from a different angle.
Incredible! Please take this tour
Really good! The tour was dynamic, fun and peppered with both good story and revealing facts about Caravaggio and Rome. Max was quite funny as well, and kept things moving so it went quickly (sometimes these tours can feel too long).
Fascinating story of Caravaggio’s life and death with knowledgable guide. Delivered with panache and humour. Stars of the show of course being the paintings and the churches that house them. A great 2 hour tour of Rome with a purpose.
Our guide was knowledgeable and engaging and really knew his stuff. In fact he framed the story of Caravaggio and his life and death as a contemporary mystery. In fact his performance was more akin to a performance 🎭 than a tour. We would recommend this tour and this guide to anyone who wants something entertaining, educational, and active whilst in Rome.
Max was really good, he brought the story of Caravaggio to life, I didn’t know much about him before but now I have a greater understanding of his paintings
Jacob’s tour was absolutely brilliant. He’s very knowledgeable and highly engaging. He brings to life the twists and turns of Caravaggio’s dramatic time in Rome. Jacob’s analysis of his work was fascinating and illuminating. Highly recommended!
