What our guests say

The tour was very interesting and informative about Caravaggio and his art.

It was very nice and engaging because of the storytelling

The tour was great. Lots of information and anecdotes from Caravaggio's life. Also, Joey is a great storyteller, with a great sense of humor. For every recommendation.

Great Tour! Amazing Guru !!

Great tour, interested and inspiriting, great guide Joey

This was amazing!!! What a storyteller, it was like a pageturner book!! Big fun and no spoilers in this review, just go

If you want to see and learn something beside the basics, I definitely recommed it. Fun and intetesting!

It was super funny at every moment, super interesting!!! Loved it and recommend it a lot!!!!

Max and his engaging stories highly exceeded our expectations. We have been on many tours and his was by far the best. Informative, engaging, creative well paced. Our only disappointment was that we could not join his ghost tour later that evening.

Great guide! Lot of info and fun.

Absolutely one of the best walking tours we’ve been on. Great presenter and story teller with an excellent story to tell- brilliant. For anyone who has an interest in Caravaggio or art of his era - a definite must to check out 👍

Thank you Joy! It was an exceptional experience that seamlessly combined art appreciation, historical immersion, and interactive storytelling. It's a must-visit for art enthusiasts, history buffs, and anyone who enjoys a dash of intrigue with their cultural exploration. I left with a deeper appreciation for Caravaggio's art and an enduring fascination with the mystery that surrounds his life and death.

Very good bruv

This was one of the best tours I've ever been on. The guru showed a passion for art that carried through his words. Showed me a way to look at art that I never would have anticipated. It changed the way I understood history, art and Rome. I can only hope to love something as much as our Guru lover Caravaggio

Absolute Weiterempfehlung!

This tour was as if a stand up comedy and art history lecture had a baby, truly amazing! Do yourself a favor and book it :)

Bilo je fantasticno👍Hvala

Max was great. He wove a brilliant story that kept us entertained even our 11yo loved it. The best and most entertaining tour we have done on our trip to Rome. Thoroughly recommend.

Max did a wonderful job! He kept us informed and entertained during the whole tour! We use Guru free tours whenever possible on our travels worldwide and have never had a bad experience!

Excellent tour by Joey. Unlike other artists, where the interest is just the art, Caravaggio's real life is just as interesting and complicated. I had studied Caravaggio in school & thought I had a good understanding of the man and his work but after this tour, I now know, I only knew a fraction of his story. A great tour for anyone with even a passing interest in art.
