Easily ABSOLUTELY THE BEST tour that I’ve ever been! Perfectly planned and crafted, interesting, very informative and thrilling! Simply unique style to show Rome’s hidden gems and spots by telling the story about the whole different thing - Caravaggios life - how he was interacting with the famous people around and the city itself. The guide was whole another level of storytelling, very artistic, passionate, funny and cool! The way he was talking about the artist and his art was fascinating even if you have never heard of Caravaggio. So, it’s not your typical, basic city tour that you can see everywhere but it’s another piece of art itself! Amazing work!

This was awesome and mouth-dropping. This is kind of tour when the guide tells you THE STORIES and not just boring facts while guiding you through the remarkable places related to the stories. I was captivated during the whole tour and time flew but very quickly while we were told a fascinating story of Carravagio life.

This was a great tour option! The guide is very knowledgeable, eccentric, and loves Caravaggio, sharing a wealth of knowledge about his life and times in time and across Italy. This tour is different than your run of the mill walking tour, highly recommend if you are looking for an interesting and different experience

Joey was the best tour guide ever- if I got home and found out everything he said was fabricated, I wouldn’t have even been mad, because it was such an enjoyable and entertaining time. He mixed narrative entertainment with art history and provided a base historical context, all while presenting it in an accessible and entertaining way. Joey is like a mix between Jack Sparrow and a cheeky leprechaun.

This is a great tour to see some great Caravaggio masterpieces. The tour takes in the sites of Rome with a great story. The tour is engaging for kids and adults alike (we had 3 teenage kids) and the "who dunnit" kept us all guessing until the very end of the tour. Wonderful

This tour was one of the best things I did in Rome in the short 2 days I was there. It was recommended to me by a friend who had been previously and I’m so glad she suggested it. Joey was an amazing guide, you could tell he was super passionate about his job and the history and stories he was sharing. I didn’t know much about Caravaggio before the tour but still gained so much out of it and it was incredibly fascinating. 100% recommend to anyone who wanted to have a whole lot of fun and gain some really in depth knowledge and explore Rome at the same time!
