Witty, humorous and knowledgeable. Max did an incredible job showing us around and educating us on Roman history. Perfect way to get acquainted with the area and see the sights sans crowds.

The tour was excellent; the guide presented a lot of history in an interesting and easily understandable manner, with excellent English.

Max took us on an incredible journey through history, weaving together stories of rulers, events, and even a touch of geography with a perfect blend of fun. His storytelling made the past come alive, allowing us to admire the rich history, get lost in the architectural marvels, and truly appreciate the legacy of the Roman Empire. Every moment was engaging, insightful, and unforgettable—an absolute must for history lovers!

I knew too much already myself, so the general info was somwhat known to me already, although I like to be remembered on few details. For the rest of but for people in the group the information depth and amount was great. And I really like that I could have more in depth conversation with the guid in between the stops, for me that was the best. Great tour, really recomend.

Max took us through a very cool and interesting route in Rome and was able to give us some interesting information. However, he sometimes added some comments that were unnecessary and the tour could have been better without them.
