What Our Guests Say

Jacob was a great tour guide! Answered all questions in great depth and gave us a great understanding of the ancient Roman World. Encouraged questions and went the extra mile to ensure people got answers. He was very knowledgeable on all the subjects presented. Definitely recommend his tours.

Loved the tour. Max is a storyteller and kept us engaged throughout. With so much of history there was not a single moment of boredom. He managed the crowd well and answered all our queries. 100% recommended :)

Fantastic tour!!! great way to spend your night in Rome. Leonardo was very knowledgeable, funny and easy going. Very entertaining! would highly recommend

Exelent guide that give an exelent overview 🙏🙏🙏

Very good tour with great insights and nicely paced.

Max was an absolute legend of a Guide, you could see how knowledgeable he was in every aspect but at the same time he delivered all the information with fun and interesting stories which would be suitable for anyone (from History teachers - to people knowing absolutely nothing about the Ancient Rome). Very informative, and well put together. I have been to over a 40 of free walking tours like this across Europe and I would put Max's tour in the top 2 maybe even number 1😜. This is how a tour should look like, keep it up.

Ivan is such an entusiastic and passionate guide, which makes him a really good storyteller. We loved it! Definitely recomend it!

We did 3 tours with whatabouttours and they were all absolutely worth it including this one! Had a great time sightseeing and learning about Roman history in an entertaining way. Can’t recommend these guys enough!

Excellent and refreshingly detailed- connecting the dots between the various families over the baroque period

This was my second tour with Max. I’ve done a few of these tours in different countries and let me tell you the guide makes all the difference. Max is a captivating storyteller, attentive and open to all questions.
