I can't recommend this tour enough, really glad I booked it to start the trip right, you don't only get to see beautiful Rome at night with the benefit of the city not being crowded like it can be during the day, we had each stop to ourselves. Max is not just a true professional and passionate about what he does he's also a great comedian, made us laugh out loud A LOT! The tour is indeed the best of both worlds, informative and entertaining. You feel like you are walking through history and Max was a fantastic storyteller. The icing on the cake was ending the tour by the colosseum which is a must see at night as it is during the day, Max gifted us a discount to enjoy at a bar that he likes and gave us many recommendations too. Plus, tip for solo travelers, very friendly people attend and Max's bar discount made a nice little excuse to hang out with other fellow members of the walking tour afterwards, lovely conversation and enjoy a limoncelo while you are at it to end the night right! 😉 5 stars, recommending it to friends and fam for sure!

What a fabulous way to learn about the city. We had a wonderful tour learning of the families who shaped the History of Rome. Jacob was very interesting and his knowledge was extensive. He had the whole group fully engaged from beginning to end. I would highly recommend.

Jacobbo was a great tour guide with never ending knowledge about the history and families of Rome! The tour was a very nice combination of some highlights of the city like the Trevi fountain, and hidden gems and undexpected places like the first grave of michelangelo. It was great!

This was a very enjoyable tour. Max brought ancient history to life and took us on a journey through the highs and lows of Ancient Rome history. It was also really nice to explore some of Rome sights in the evening away from the crowds.
