This walking tour was led by Simone whose passion for all things Caravaggio was obvious. His fascinating tales about the life of this controversial yet brilliant artist and the places in Rome he frequented made for a truly engaging tour. It certainly piqued our interest to delve more deeply into the biography of Caravaggio. We were a small group which made for excellent conversations and questions.

This tour was excellent, we learned lots of new things about Ancient Rome, and about Roman history.

This tour is fantastic and we saw an area with new eyes having our eyes opened to it history. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and keeping our 16 year olds engaged

Great tour that compliments all the highlights of Rome! Perfect way to explore Trastevere. Nicolette was a fantastic guide - really engaging, entertaining and knowledgeable. Despite touring during a heatwave, the route was shaded, breezy and we lost no one along the way - a testament to how great the tour and guide were! A must do on your Roman holiday!

A massive thanks to Simone. There is no better way to stroll through the city and grasp some bits of history to try to make sense of what surrounds us on one's first day in Rome. The walk is not exhausting as there are enough breaks, however wearing comfortable footwear is a must (on top of carrying your refillable bottle). He goes the extra mile to thoroughly provide answers to all questions. Learnt a lot and highly recommend! Cheers!

Thus was a really informative tour, especially for anyone wanting to go deeper on art. I really liked the way so much art history and context was packed into an engaging storytelling format, coupled by visits to see famous artwork at nearby churches. It was so fun it didn’t seem like learning!
