On a big group tour the guide sets the speed. On a private one you do. If the youngest is tired, we stop. If everyone wants to hear more about the gladiators, we stay longer.
The guide tells stories, not dates: who was poisoned, who was murdered, why there are turtles on a fountain. The price is fixed for your whole party and starts from €250 for a two-hour walk with up to 25 people, so grandparents, cousins and friends can all come along.

Leo did a great job. Very immersive and funny. Connected dots throughout that really brought parts of the city alive. He was witty and even showed us things not necessarily part of the tour (ie restaurant locations and cafe recommendations). The information provided about the tour specific was great and explained with personality rather than forced like a robot. I recommend this tour 100%.
