Guided museum visits in Rome
A guided visit inside the Colosseum or the Vatican, with a licensed guide and a plan for your group.
Some places are better with a guide beside you. A guided visit takes your group inside the Colosseum or the Vatican with a licensed guide who knows the site and tells its story, so you spend the time looking instead of searching for the next room.
The price is fixed for the whole group. A Colosseum guided visit is €325 for 2 hours and €400 for 3 hours. Vatican visits are quoted individually, because the plan depends on the itinerary you agree with us.
Admission tickets are bought separately by the client.
What a guided visit gives you
Inside the site
Unlike our walking tours, which view the Colosseum and the Roman Forum from the outside, a guided visit goes inside the landmark.
A licensed guide
Guided visits are led by licensed guides, subject to availability and to the requirements of each site.
Up to 20 people per guide
One guide leads up to 20 participants, subject to confirmation. Larger groups can be split between guides.

The Vatican visit is tailored to the itinerary we agree with you, whether your group cares most about art, history or cultural heritage.
Walks to pair with a visit
Many groups add a walk before or after a visit. Take one as it is, or ask us for a mix.

One price for the whole group
A two-hour walking tour starts from €250 for up to 25 people. You pay for the tour, not for each person.
Longer tours, Colosseum visits and special routes are priced separately. We quote the exact price after you send a request.

We chose to do the tour in Spanish (the only option available on the day we were free). Since we speak Portuguese, we thought we would be able to follow the stories at least to some extent, but unfortunately, it was harder than we expected. Because of that, we left the group early, before the tour was finished. We want to make it clear that this was entirely our own issue, the guide was always very professional, engaging, and clearly very knowledgeable. We really liked her, and the only reason we left was because we couldn’t understand enough to make it worthwhile to stay.
Our first time trying a free walking tour and was excellent and better than expected. Max was informative, enthusiastic and entertaining. Highly recommend.
The tour was great, it is a really good idea to see the sites of Rome in the evening, it much less crowdy then. Max was a wonderful guide, very professional and the tour was well organised and clear. I can fully recommend it :)
