A tailor-made walk starts with a conversation. You tell us who is coming, how long you have and what you care about, and we shape a walk around it. Some groups want the big names. Others want the street where Caravaggio lived.
The price is fixed for the whole group. A two-hour walk starts from €250 for up to 25 people. Longer walks and special routes are priced separately, and we quote them after you send a request.

The places
Pick a route we already run, mix two of them, or name the places you want to see. We tell you honestly what fits in the time you have.
The length and the pace
Two hours is our standard walk. Longer routes are possible. Tell us if you want to stop for a coffee or walk straight through.
The group
Up to 25 people walk with one guide, and the price covers all of you. Bigger groups get more guides.
The stories
Our guests rate us 4.90 out of 5. The guide picks the stories that suit your group: art, ancient history, crime, neighborhoods.

We chose to do the tour in Spanish (the only option available on the day we were free). Since we speak Portuguese, we thought we would be able to follow the stories at least to some extent, but unfortunately, it was harder than we expected. Because of that, we left the group early, before the tour was finished. We want to make it clear that this was entirely our own issue, the guide was always very professional, engaging, and clearly very knowledgeable. We really liked her, and the only reason we left was because we couldn’t understand enough to make it worthwhile to stay.
Our first time trying a free walking tour and was excellent and better than expected. Max was informative, enthusiastic and entertaining. Highly recommend.
The tour was great, it is a really good idea to see the sites of Rome in the evening, it much less crowdy then. Max was a wonderful guide, very professional and the tour was well organised and clear. I can fully recommend it :)
